Teacher Collaborative Routines – Floor 1 – Instructional Design & Delivery
August 12, 2019 - September 27, 2019
Online interactive courses replace much of our traditionally offered face-to-face sessions offered in previous years. For the convenience of our participants, these courses are now available on the Statewide Field Team’s Online Learning Platform. Each course is offered for a number of weeks and participants are able to self-pace their learning throughout the course while also interacting with other participants and our Statewide Field Team’s Coordinator of Professional Learning chosen to facilitate learning for this content area. This format gives participants the flexibility needed to engage at their convenience, but also provides support and interaction with other learners and an instructor. Materials presented in these courses are available to participants on the Statewide Field Team’s Online Learning Platform.
This is a self-paced online interactive course that runs from August 12 to September 27, 2019.
The Teacher Collaborative Routines series consists of three courses that build on each other to develop a theoretical understanding of each installation floor of the Teacher Collaborative Routines as defined in the Blueprint for Systemic Reconfiguration’s Evidence of Practice. This series will provide not only the research supporting collaborative best practices, but practical support and examples that will enable teachers to move from theory to impactful and sustainable collaborative routines.
Teacher Collaborative Routines Floor 1: Instructional Design and Delivery explores the purpose, the practices and the purposeful steps necessary for teachers to effectively engage in routines that focus on the design and delivery of high-quality instruction that is aligned to district-approved curricular documents. Participants will explore and build their skills in collaborative unit planning, lesson planning, and connecting student learning needs to the district’s defined instructional targets support. Finally, this course addresses collaborative routines for designing instructional delivery on a continuum of intensity to meet individual student need.
