Leading Systemic Reconfiguration Board Series
October 4 @ 8:30 am - October 5 @ 2:00 pm

What Does it Mean for a Local Board to Lead Systemic Reconfiguration?
The Blueprint for Systemic Reconfiguration provides courageous local district leaders the roadmap to build and enhance their district infrastructure to powerfully support teaching, learning, and dramatic changes in student, teacher, and leader performance in a short amount of time. Led by directors of the MI Excel Statewide Field Team, current and former local district superintendents and board members of Blueprint installing districts, this series provides local district board members with a deep understanding of the Blueprint, how it impacts the district’s efforts to increase student achievement, and, most importantly, how a local board of education partners with its superintendent to lead this systemic reconfiguration to realize high levels of performance throughout the entire district.
This three-part series includes a Friday evening dinner session followed by a Saturday session that runs 7:30a to 2:00p with breakfast and lunch included. The entire series will take place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Lansing. Districts can register a maximum of three (3) board members and superintendents are encouraged to attend with their board members to ensure coherency in message.
This three-part series is scheduled for the following dates (attendance at each of the three sessions is strongly encouraged). Registration will be handled for each event in the series separately.
