Assessing Need Techncial Certification
November 11 - December 31
Online interactive courses replace much of our traditionally offered face-to-face sessions offered in previous years. For the convenience of our participants, these courses are now available on the Statewide Field Team’s Online Learning Platform. Each course is offered for a number of weeks and participants are able to self-pace their learning throughout the course while also interacting with other participants and our Statewide Field Team’s Coordinator of Professional Learning chosen to facilitate learning for this content area. This format gives participants the flexibility needed to engage at their convenience, but also provides support and interaction with other learners and an instructor. Materials presented in these courses are available to participants on the Statewide Field Team’s Online Learning Platform.
This is a self-paced interactive online course that runs from 11/11/19 to 12/31/19.
The Assessing Need Technical Certification pathway is geared toward ISD/ESA Consultants and/or district leaders who do not currently engage in a robust Assessing Need process within a local district that emphasizes the iterative nature of data collection, data analysis, and strategic decision-making that leads to effective, impactful, measurable, and actionable improvement plans.
The Assessing Need Technical Certification program allows participants the opportunity to deepen their theoretical understandings of how to effectively utilize the Assessing Need processes for impactful improvement planning and action, to see their connections to the Blueprint for Systemic Reconfiguration by engaging in content-based professional learning, and to demonstrate their understandings of this work theoretically through a rigorous performance assessment.
This course will result in a list of technical experts whose knowledge and expertise in the theoretical understanding of the Assessing Need processes has been documented to be of the highest quality.
